The seat has a seating part longitudinally movable by upper rails in lower rails that are fastened at a vehicle base, where the upper rails are fastened at the part. A movable seat cushion support is lockably and unlockably arranged in a frame (16) of the part. A backrest (20) is connected on both sides with the part around a folding axis by locking fittings (22). The support stays in effective connection with the backrest by a latch (28), shaft (32), lever (34), roller (36) and a cam (38), which are provided to suspend blocking of a transverse direction of the support.
