The connector for fastening horizontal bars (1) to vertical posts (2) comprises a C-profile plate (3) which is bolted into a groove in the bar. An L-shaped plate (10) is screwed to the post. Bolts (13) are screwed into this whose heads (14) fit into the profile. Longitudinal locking bars are then inserted into the profile which fit under the heads of the bolts on the profile and plate.
