In laminated, UV-stabilized, biaxially oriented polyester film, having base layer(s) (B) with sealable layer (A) and mat layer (C) on opposite surfaces, (A) contains less than 0.1 wt.% external particles; and (C) contains a polyester with 6-30 mole-% isophthalic acid units and 1.0-7.0 wt.%, with respect to total (C), pigment particles of average diameter (d50) of 2-10 mu m with scatter, expressed as SPAN 98, in the 1.2-2 range. An independent claim is included for production of the laminated film.
