The method involves storing heat from a heat source (8) in two accumulators (1, 2) with insulators (6) that direct the flow of a heat transfer medium using controllers and regulators. The heat is obtained in one accumulator and the heat from the insulators is obtained into the other accumulator through a cooling body (7) using pipelines of pumps, armatures, controllers and the regulators during heating of the insulators to use the heat from the accumulators in cold season. An independent claim is also included for an accumulator for long-time storage of heat.
