The component (1) has a glass unit (2), and another glass unit (3) arranged at a distance from the former glass unit, where one of the glass units is tinted. A disc gap (38) is formed between the glass units and is filled with an inert gas, where the glass units are manufactured from high-transparent glass e.g. laminated sheet glass. One of the glass units has a surface and a coating layer, where the surface is in diffuse form. The surface has an isotropic radiation characteristic with an observation angle of larger than 50 degrees. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a projection glass component.
