Wooden articles (I) impregnated with Fischer-Tropsch wax, polyethylene or a mixture of these (II). An independent claim is included for a method for the production of (I) by the treatment of wood with wax as above for 5-120 minutes at 80-150[deg]C under elevated and/or reduced pressure.
