The device has an information carrier (1) that is activatable so that the carrier transmits data to a station (3). A fixing unit (6) is temporarily connectable with the carrier using a fixing unit-support, so that the carrier is activatable by the connection with the fixing unit. A transponder is provided for wireless transmission of data from the carrier to the station, where reference data for the fixing unit is provided at the station.
