Sealing strip is cut into discrete longitudinal sections (40) which each have a bending site (41) for receiving a corner (3) of a window frame and continuous in two right-angled long sides (42, 43). The length of the each side corresponds to half the height and width of the window frame. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of the sealing strip. Preferred Features: The bending site is formed in a non-divided longitudinal section and is joined in a seamless manner to the sides.
