The second circuit (16) has a second memory with a third area, in which data of the first key are stored, and with a fourth area (48), in which arbitrary data are stored. A first logic unit (60) is connected with the second circuit. An input or output unit (18) is connected with the second logic unit (64) and the logically linked encoded message can be determined from this received to this terminal. An independent claim is also included for authentication of memory card.
