The mattress has a cover (2), and several intrinsic flexible mattress cores (7, 10-12) and a heating unit (13) that are provided within the cover. The cover has a zipper (3) that is designed so that the mattress is openable and again closeable for inserting or removing the mattress cores. The mattress is heated with the heating unit so that moisture in an inner part of the mattress is dried up in daytime. The mattress cores are made of a foam material, latex and/or steel or plastic spring. An independent claim is also included for a heating unit for insertion into a mattress with several layers.
