The invention relates to a simulation system and a simulation method for examining the operability of a means of transport, especially a motor vehicle, by a user. The inventive system is characterized by a primary data set (10) comprising a permanently prestored resource profile for solving at least one primary task during operation of the means of transport by a user, and at least one secondary data set (20) comprising data relating to at least one secondary task, especially the operability of an infotainment system and/or dialog system during operation of the means of transport by the user. The inventive method is characterized in that the primary data set (10) and the secondary data set are transmitted to a simulation device (30) and that the simulation device (30), depending on the primary and secondary data set (10, 20), automatically determines the influence of at least one primary task on the execution of at least one secondary task and that the simulation device (30) displays and/or stores the simulation result as an output data set (40). The inventive method and system allow to simplify the examination of the effect of infotainment systems or dialog system used in means of transport.
