The double support rolling-winder (1) has a transport unit (8) for delivering a reel (6) from the double support rolling-winder after completion of the winding process. The double support rolling-winder is arranged during the winding process in an area below the winding bed (5). After completion of the winding process and after axially parallel displacement, a supporting cylinder (4) with respect to other supporting cylinder (3) is passed-through the extended winding bed for retaining the reel. The reel is held laterally from the double support rolling-winder.
