The drive unit has a rotationally drivable motor shaft (22), and an extender wheel (20) that is arranged within an extender wheel space (18). The extender wheel is attached on the motor shaft, and is provided for converting rotary motion of the driven motor shaft into translational motion of a piston (28). A sponge (34) is provided within the extender wheel space, and is fitted to a piston section of a hydraulic-piston pump (14), where the piston section is extended into the extender wheel space. The sponge is attached to and along a boundary (30) of the extender wheel space.
