The rescue capsule has a hollow body (1) with a hole formed at the top side (3). A sliding latch (6) is arranged on the cavity inside the hole to close the hollow body. An entrance pit (4) with cover (5) is attached on the hollow body. The cover has a center tubular portion for receiving the stopper of a sun screen (12). The cover is foldable, and provided with circular hand grips. The circular hand grips may serve as towel racks when the cover closes the entrance pit. Additional hand grips (7) are provided for use as towel racks and for use as something to hold on during tsunami disaster.
