The method involves utilizing a light barrier sensor with reflection marks for measuring parameters e.g. effective power output, torque, and moment of inertia, of a rotary machine and mechanism e.g. turbine. The parameters are evaluated simultaneously using a specific algorithm in accordance to a specific formula. The parameters are used for producing the characteristics of the measured machine. The results obtained after the measurement are represented in a graphical form, where evaluation of the parameters is effected by software with a label name UMARO (RTM: Not defined).
