The system (1) has an energy unit (3) that is arranged between an activating mechanism (16) and a door opener (7). The energy unit is connected with the activating mechanism by two wire lines (2) in an electrically conducting manner. The energy unit stores current, which is supplied via an electrically conductive connection of the energy unit during the activation of the mechanism. An access control unit (6) is supplied with the supply current. The door opener is supplied with the opening current, which is controlled by the activating mechanism or access control unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for programming of a door opening system.
