The method involves determining sedimentation coefficient distribution by ultracentrifuge provided with interference optics. The density of the liposomes having phospholipid bilayer depends on its particle diameter which is calculated in accordance with the pre-specified formula. The absolute particle size is calculated with the other formula. The particle size distribution is converted from the mass distribution by another pre-specified formula.
