The balance has four crank throws that are arranged in the cross form. Each of the crank throws with adjacent crank throws forms an angle of exclusively 90 degrees, in the crank shaft for reduction of residual mass force from the oscillating mass forces. The residual mass force is not equalized by a balancing weight and acts in a center of a base bearing. Eight balancing weights (31-38) engage within the base bearing, where each of the balancing weights produces approximately equally large balancing force.
