From the volume data sets a virtual flight takes place through the hollow channel in endoscopic perspective. There is a display apparatus (10) to provide visualisation. A test flight can be initiated without visualisation with the non-visable region (6) of the hollow channel being detected during the test flight. The non-visable region may be visualised via a turn of the view field at the virtual flight.
