The method involves partitioning the amount of data into two data portions, and transmitting data portions from a low voltage differential transmission device to a low voltage differential receiving device, where the data portions are transmitted in a successive manner. The transmitted data portions are directly displayed at a personal computer and stored in a memory device. The data portion displayed directly at the computer and the data portion readable from the memory device are displayed together at the computer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for transmission of an image data (2) a computer program, in particular a verilog hardware description language-code for controlling a method for transmission of image data.
