The map has a printed map sheet (1) that is made of a printable and foldable material. A lamination is provided with a foil or a coating on the front side and/or the back side of the printed map sheet. The map is folded by parallel running grooves (31-36) and two vertically running grooves (4, 5) in two expansion directions of the printed map sheet. The map forms a card back (8) between the vertically running grooves, where the map back is printed with information. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a map.
