The method involves carrying out an adjustment on a pixel defined by a line and a space coordinate as well as by an intensity value. The two intensity corrections of the pixel, which can be accomplished at the same time, are independent from each other. The intensity corrections used are dependent on the line and space coordinates of individual pixels. An independent claim is also included for an opto-electronic sensor with a sensor matrix, an incident lens and an adjustment device for adjusting brightness of a raw image generated by a sensor matrix.
