The guide blade segment has a guide blade and an inner covering strip (10), which is assigned to a radial inner end of each guide blade. An integral component of the inner covering strip is a sealing element (11), which seals a radial inner gap between the guide blade segment and a gas turbine rotor. The sealing element is integrally casted-on the inner covering strip. The sealing element is formed as an integral part of an injection molding at the inner covering strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a guide blade segment of a gas turbine.
