The cylinder (5) has a piston (2) at whose both sides a working chamber (7a,7b) is formed. Hydraulic connections (6) are provided for supply and removal of hydraulic medium. The hydraulic connection is formed by channels or pipes (13) provided in the area of each end stop in or outside the cylinder. A check valve (14), blocking from outer small working chamber to the inner large working chamber, is provided in the channels.
