The guiding profile line (6) has multiple amplitude range linked with set guiding profiles (7). The guiding profiles are movable at the bottom end guidance (23), which is fixed transverse to the trackway (10). A path sensor is assigned to the guiding profile for the non-destructive acquisition of a lateral path. The path sensor co-operates with a central evaluation unit and a signal generator. The signal generator is attached to the guiding profile, and the path sensor is attached to the guidance. An independent claim is also included for a trackway safety system.
