The device has a gas conducting path (1) directed from a condensate separator (7) to a gas analyzer (13) and from the gas analyzer to a downstream gas jet pump (17). Gas to be analyzed is conducted to the separator via a section of the gas conducting path. A separate conduction path (2) is directed from the condensate separator to the downstream gas jet pump, where the gas to be analyzed is fed to the condensate separator by the gas jet pump. The gas jet pump discharges the condensate of the gas to be analyzed via the gas conduction path from the condensate separator.
