The method involves providing a housing with two ends and distributing a flowable embedded material such as epoxy resin or polyurethane, in a lumen of the housing at one end by rotating the housing about an axis perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the housing. A filter is embedded within an area of the ends of the housing by the embedded material and is connected with a housing inner wall in a liquid-tight manner. The housing is rotated about the longitudinal axis, which runs perpendicular to the former rotary axis of the housing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for embedding a filter in a housing (2) a filter module containing a hollow fiber.
