In the production of fiber-plastics composite profiles (1), based on resin-impregnated fiber mats (2, 4, 6), textile fabrics or rovings, by pultrusion, the mats, fabrics or rovings are bonded by pultrusion in a production operation with a shape-fitted coating (8), covering at least part and at least one side of the mats, fabrics or rovings and provided with a releasable outer protective layer (10). An independent claim is included for a fiber-plastics composite profile (1) with a coating (8) provided with a releasable outer protective layer (10).
