The ancillary transmission has a single-stage planetary wheel set with sunwheel (6), planetary wheel support for several planetary wheels (10), and a hollow wheel (7). The sun wheel is connectable coaxially and rotationally secured to a shaft on the output or drive side and a belt rim (1) is connected coaxially and rotationally secured to the planetary wheel support. A clutch can be shifted in between the planetary wheel support and sunwheel to act as drive. A brake can be shifted in between the hollow wheel and a stationary frame part. Independent claim describes drive assembly for ancillary transmission where the sunwheel is connected rotationally secured coaxially to the drive shaft of the auxiliary component which is to be driven or to the output shaft of an output element.
