Use of cosmetic preparation (A) containing glycyrrhizin and/or glycyrrhetic acid and 2,4-bis-{[4-(2-ethyl-hexyloxy)-2-hydroxy]-phenyl}-6-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine, to strengthen the pigment of human skin. An independent claim is included for the use of a cosmetic or dermatological preparation (A1) comprising glycyrrhizin and/or glycyrrhetic acid and 2,4-bis-{[4-(2-ethyl-hexyloxy)-2-hydroxy]-phenyl}-6-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine to care light- and shave strained skin and/or to the relief or the after reactions of the skin on the effect of UV-radiation and/or shave.
