The installation has a flat station and a door station that are connected to a bus (14). Two interfaces (38, 44) respectively connect the house installation with a data communicating network (20) e.g. Internet, and a public telephone network (18). A storage unit stores a data set assigned to a telephone (22) and a personal computer (PC) (24). The data set contains information about an identity such as telephone number or Internet protocol (IP) address. A controller (32) controls the two interfaces for connecting the house installation with the telephone and the PC depending on the data set.
