The transmission has two circular friction wheels (3, 4) that are arranged on two parallel shafts in opposite direction to each other. The friction wheels are toroid-wheels with relatively strong convexity, and are respectively designed in convex and concave manner. An eccentric tappet (18) is provided at a swivel mechanism, preferably at a swivel axis (10) of an adjusting beam. The eccentric tappet transfers swivel movement into a path, which operatively produces a position-dependently controlled contact force between a friction ring (5) and the friction wheels on a spring.
