The device has infrared point sensors and/or integrated infrared multi-unit detector including sensor units. The sensors are designed as thermopile or bolometer and are arranged to a human user (1). The arrangement of the individual sensor units is twisted opposite to each other, where the device is connected to a controlled electronic device over a communication interface. The twisting is optically realized by a lens or by the arrangement of the sensor units. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling an electronic component controlling device.
