The device has an elongated loop (4b) attached on a hairbrush and extended by brush parts of the hairbrush with bristles (3). A part of the elongated loop is detachably connected with the hairbrush in proximity to two opposed front ends of the brush parts. The loop comprises an end for slipping over a brush handle (2) and fastening units at front ends of the brush parts, where the loop is made of a flexible material. An independent claim is also included for a hairbrush.
