A drop separating (DS) arrangement has at least three flow directing, agglomerating, preseparating and/or DS layers (3, 4, 5) (the last layer being a DS layer (5)) in series in the flow direction, on both sides of a common supporting construction (6) for applying the layers to a gas scrubber. The supporting construction consists of a single piece or modular elements, and has a single mounting unit (15) for application to a single support (1, 2) on the gas scrubber.
