Water purification in dishwashers comprises subjecting the water fed into dishwasher to ion-exchange process in ion-exchanger filled in container, and regenerating ion-exchanger with regenerating agent from regeneration container
The procedure for water purification in dishwashers, includes subjecting the water fed into the dishwasher to an ion-exchange process in an ion-exchanger (21) filled in an ion-exchange container (5) within the dishwasher (19), and regenerating intermittently the ion-exchanger with a regenerating agent from a refillable regeneration container (4) that is arranged within the dishwasher. The ion-exchange process is intended by a weakly acidic cation exchanger and the regeneration process is undertaken by amidosulfonic acid/citric acid, which is brought as a solid into the regeneration container. The procedure for water purification in dishwashers, comprises subjecting the water fed into the dishwasher to an ion-exchange process in an ion-exchanger (21) filled in an ion-exchange container (5) within the dishwasher (19), and regenerating intermittently the ion-exchanger with a regenerating agent from a refillable regeneration container (4) that is arranged within the dishwasher. The ion-exchange process is intended by a weakly acidic cation exchanger and that the regeneration process is undertaken by amidosulfonic acid or citric acid, which is in each case brought as a solid into the regeneration container. The water fed from a drinking water supply system into the dishwasher is led before passing through the ion-exchanger, through a water safety device (20), which prevents the penetration of the water from the dishwasher into the drinking water supply system. The acidic eluate resulting from the regeneration of the ion-exchanger is neutralized with alkaline wastewater from the dishwasher. The neutralization is accomplished in a continuous line (14) or in a separate neutralization container, through which a part of the alkaline wastewater of the dishwasher is supplied besides the eluate. An independent claim is included for a dishwasher with an ion-exchange container.
