Input device (4) has a casing (15) and a display (12) arranged in the casing for the optical representation of information. Touchscreen (11), arranged over the display, is designed for the input of instructions by commanding the operating surface (16) of the touchscreen. The casing is movable opposite to the display or touchscreen where an actuator (13) moves the touchscreen or the casing in a direction. An independent claim is included for the motor vehicle.
