The method involves communicating a service by a customer (1) with a supplier (3) via a digital information network e.g. Internet. The service is inquired by the customer with the supplier via the network for determining access authorization of the customer. A session is generated and the service is provided in a frame of the session through the supplier via the network, where the communication between the customer and the supplier takes place via a content backup module that is designed as a proxy (2), which accomplishes the management of the session and the provision of the service. An independent claim is also included for a computer system for providing a service via a digital information network.
