The device has a set of actuators (20) controlled by an electronic control unit. Information about a haptic perception of feet and legs and a kinesthetic perception of an ankle joints are transmitted to a machine when the actuators are set in a layer positioned between the feet and the base. The control unit is integrated directly in the layer positioned between the feet of the user and the base. An independent claim is also included for a method of transferring haptic information in a man-machine interaction.
