The measuring cell has a flow-measuring section comprising a hollow section casing (11). An ion-selective diaphragm (12) e.g. glass diaphragm, forms a casing area and is surrounded by an inert material of the hollow section casing in the development of the hollow section casing. An outer reservoir (R1) is provided for a buffer solution and limited to the diaphragm. The diaphragm extends in circumferential direction of the hollow section casing.
