The arrangement has a cover nut with a threaded hole and a clamping surface at a side of a supporting flange (2). The cover nut is screwed on a threaded shaft, and a cable socket (8) is clamped between the supporting flange and the clamping surface. The cable socket is pressed against the supporting flange by a nut (6) through a hollow rivet (11). The cable socket is arranged with the hollow rivet at a welding stud (1). The rivet is designed such that it is pressed against the supporting flange by the nut. An independent claim is also included for a hollow rivet for a fastening arrangement.
