The method involves imbedding open-cell supporting structure of multiple calcium phosphate phases from sol of oxide compounds in water or alcohol as solvent. The sol with the homogeneously distributed calcium phosphate phases, within the freezing point of the used solvent, is cast into chilled frozen form. The solvent frozen into a gel that includes the frozen solvent is detracted by lyophilization. An open-pore supporting structure develops with imbedded multiple calcium phosphate phases. The oxide compounds are made from the elements of the second to fifth subgroup or main group of the periodic system or periodic table or the mixture. The porosity and the pore size are controlled by concentration of the sol and/or the cooling process during freezing. The polymer-like structure has an additional organic polymer, such as collagen or digest of collagen, embedded and the medical product is an implant.
