The method involves monitoring a measured variable during measurement by using a display unit (14). Determination is made whether changes in the measured variable lie within preset limits during a predetermined time interval, which extends up to actual measuring time points. A window is displayed on the display unit, where dimensions of the window correspond to the predetermined time interval and the preset limits. The window is drawn along with the actual measuring time points during the measurement. An independent claim is also included for a device for graphically displaying dynamic procedures.
