The adjuster has an elastically deformable optical lens (20) and has a shaping device (40). The shaping device changes the shape and the optical properties of the optical lens by varying the force acting on the optical lens. The shaping device directly or indirectly changes the shape of a refraction surface of the optical lens. An independent claim is included for the method for changing the optical properties of the optical lens.
