An independent claim is also included for a device for testing the functionality of an exhaust gas arrangement in an internal combustion engine. Preferred Features: At least one of the control parameters is an adjusting signal for controlling a transducer whose change is determined compared with a prescribed adjusting signal value stored in a control device.
