The gearless, directly driven multi-axis turret head for a motor spindle, with a yoke rotatably arranged around a C-axis, has the multi-pole synchronous motor for direct drive and control of the yoke movement consisting of a permanent magnet excited stator (5) with an electromagnetically excited rotor (6) arranged within it, wherein the stator is formed as a formed part for rigid coupling to a slide (7) or a carriage (8) of a machine tool which can be effected by means of a flange (10) on the stator.
