The support (10) has a hollow cross section and guide rails (16, 18) at opposite sides, where the hollow cross sections are formed by utilizing a U-profile (12) . A cover plate (14) is connected with sides of the U-profile , where the cover plate and the guide rails are connected by lock screws (20) or rivet joints with the U-profile. The U-profile, the cover plate and the guide rails are designed as edged sheet metal profiles.
