Radial tyres with a profiled tread (1), a multilayer bracing ply (2), an inner layer (4), a casing (3) with at least one layer passing round bead cores (6) and bead profiles (7) in the bead section (5), side walls (8) and a reinforcing profile with a crescent-shaped cross-section (9) for each side wall, extending along most of the side wall and made from at least one vulcanised rubber mixture (I), in which (I) contains at least one acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) with an acrylonitrile content of 15-30%.
