The recorder has acceleration sensors (27a-27n) to detect collision acting on a vehicle. Cameras (25a-25n) record image data with respect to the moving vehicle and before and after a time point in which the collision is detected. A RAM (23) stores collective data that indicates the image data and is collected based on preset collision levels. A central processing unit (CPU) (21) arranges the collision in different collision levels.
