Producing flat electric heating element, especially for automobile seats, from flexible textile support, electric contact leads and heating leads in mold with two pairs of jaws

Production of a flat electric heating element, from a flexible textile support, electric contact leads and heating leads, in a mold with two pairs of jaws (1, 2; 3, 4), each with channel(s) and perpendicular indentations (7) in one jaw (3) and projections (10) in the other jaw (4), involves placing the support between the jaws; closing the jaws; pulling the leads through the channels; opening the jaws; and applying the heating leads using a textile or sewing machine. Production of a flat electric heating element, from a flexible textile support, at least two opposite electrically conductive contact leads and several heating leads between and conected to the leads, is carried out in a mold with two pairs of jaws (1, 2; 3, 4), each with channel(s) in one jaw (3), deeper indentations (7) perpendicular to the channel(s) and projections (10) corresponding to the indentations in the other jaw (4). The process involves placing the support between the jaws; closing the jaws so that the support is deformed by the indentations and projections; pulling the lead(s) through the channel(s) using an auxiliary, so that the support material in the indentations is penetrated; opening the jaws; and applying the heating leads using a textile machine or sewing machine.
